conversations with my kids

It was a peaceful morning, so far.

I had my cup of coffee,

I fed the cats,

Alex had left for work

and the kids were still asleep.

I thought it was quiet until my oldest son, Iain came peering around the corner.

Iain is 8 years old, and the family rooster.

He is nonstop talk from sunrise to sunset.  His mind is in constant motion and sometimes, I just want to hear my own thoughts.

However, I have been trying to live more in the moment with my children, so when Iain started talking, I decided this time, to really listen.

Conversations with my Kids is a blog about really listening to what your children are saying.  Because once you dive into their minds, an amazing, imaginative, creative world you once had, but soon forgot, begins to evolve.

Enjoy their thoughts and try to think more like a child.

It just might save the world.
